Where do you download the template?
In the Trendyol seller panel, on the Product › Bulk Product Operations screen, choose the template type and category and download the Excel template. According to Trendyol’s official walkthrough, the template varies by category; you download and upload a separate template for each category, and if errors come up, you fix them and upload again.
Watch out when filling it in
- Product name at most 100 characters (official).
- Description is required; simple HTML is accepted, but scripts/styles and iframes aren’t supported (official developer note).
- Color can’t exceed 50 characters (official).
- Once a product is approved, barcode, model code, brand, category and variant attributes can’t be changed; enter them correctly on the first upload.
- Don’t leave the category’s required attribute fields empty, and make sure they don’t contradict the title (e.g. “plaid” in the title, “striped” in the pattern field).
Image links
The image URL must start with https://, point directly to the file and end with the file extension; Google Drive or Dropbox share links aren’t accepted. Up to 8 images can be added per barcode. For sizes, see the image guide.
Common mistakes
- Using the same barcode on two rows
- Entering variants with separate model codes
- Unnecessary spaces and line breaks in cells
- Excel turning numbers (barcodes) into scientific notation; format the barcode column as text
